Keeping your ducks in a row

For those who didn’t get a chance to read Michelle Singletary’s article in the Washington Post on December 1, I am including a link to this excellent article. Ms. Singletary, a nationally syndicated columnist, writes the award winning column, “The Color of Money”. In her article, Ms. Singletary speaks of a friend who recently passed away whose affairs were in such good order that her friends were in awe. In keeping her personal and financial affairs and her apartment in a well organized manner, what she left behind was a “testimony to her thoughtfulness”. We all strive to be organized, and mostly seem to fall short, but it is always good to be reminded that leaving our affairs in good order can be a true gift to our families.
