Opportunity for Disabled Veterans

Founded by Father Rick Curry, SJ, the Dog Tag Bakery is set to open in late Spring of this year in Georgetown.  This is how the organization works:  The Dog Tag Bakery will hire a cohort of ten to twelve veterans with disabilities and their spouses to complete a six month program, encompassing both substantive work experience and a tailor-made curriculum at the School of Continuing Studies at Georgetown University.  During the day the veterans will operate the bakery (currently under construction in Georgetown) and at the same time, they will undertake a course of study through Georgetown University which includes entrepreneurial training, leadership development, personal counseling, communications and more.

This is a great opportunity for an interested veteran, and applications are now online for this wonderful program.  If you are interested in finding out more about the Dog Tag Bakery, you can visit their website at http://www.dogtagbakery.org/.
