The 2014 Graduates

We are pleased to announce that this year, two dedicated employees at our firm,  Leah Morabatio and Julie Lucas, are celebrating the recent graduation of their sons.

Anthony Morabatio, son of Attorney Leah Morabatio, graduated on Sunday,  June 1st from Gonzaga College High School in DC.  Anthony is headed for the University of South Carolina next year.  While at Gonzaga, Anthony’s main interest was band.  Anthony started from the beginning as a percussionist in Beginning Band Class.  As a sophomore he moved up to Intermediate Band Class.  Finally, in his Junior year, Anthony joined the Symphonic Wind Ensemble Band.

Through hard work and dedication, Anthony ended his Senior year playing for all three school bands:  The Wind Ensemble, The Jazz Band and the Liturgical Ensemble.  He became a principal player and was one of two members of the Symphonic Band to win an award for dedicated service and musicianship.  Anthony also played on the varsity rugby team in his senior year and managed not to get injured!

Jacob Lucas, son of  our Probate Paralegal, Julie Lucas, also graduated from high school this spring. He excelled on the Seneca Valley stage, including roles in The Almost True Tale of Robin Hood, Miracle on 34th Street and Bus Stop. Jacob capped off  his high school theater career with his first musical show – Sussical.

Jacob also participated his Junior and Senior year in Men’s Choir and Concert Choir and received outstanding member awards both years. He broke into the community theater stage this January with a role in Almost Maine performed at BlackRock Center for the Arts. Jacob plans to pursue his interest in broadcasting in the fall.

We wish both of these talented young men great success and are looking forward to seeing what their future has in store for them. Congratulations graduates!
