Metropolitan Ballet Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

I’m Gretchen Fitzpatrick, a probate paralegal at GWEBLAW. For the past six years, I have been privileged to be a Board of Directors member for Metropolitan Ballet Theatre & Academy (MBT). During my tenure as the Vice-President of the Board, I was involved in selecting a new home for MBT. The Board and staff worked together in designing a state of the art dance studio on Perry Parkway in Gaithersburg, Maryland. Please join us for a Ribbon Cutting and Celebration on September 24 at 12:00 noon (220 Perry Parkway, Gaithersburg, Maryland).

MBT has been an integral part of our family as my daughter, Hannah, took ballet from kindergarten through eighth grade. She was involved in many Nutcracker productions and was even Clara one year. MBT’s mission is “Teaching dancers to be the best that they can be, through professional instruction, performing opportunities, creative choreography, and enhanced civic responsibility.” Hannah’s years at MBT gave her confidence, discipline and friendships. These qualities will carry her into her adulthood. We both are proud to have been part of this wonderful organization.
