Steven T. Blomberg Plays in WSOP Main Event

This past July, Managing Partner, Steven T. Blomberg played in the Main Event of the World Series of Poker. A veteran of tournament poker, Steve made a deep run getting to late in day 3, but was unable to cash.

The tournament started with 6,683 players, and Steve was eliminated among the top 1,400 players. The tournament only paid 693 players, so that, although Steve finished ahead of 80% of the field, it was not good enough to take home any prize money.

Steve had a number of friends come watch him play in the Main Event and got to spend some time with one of the top young players, Jeff Madsen, owner of multiple WSOP bracelets who has total major tournament winnings of over $4,500,000.00, along with stand-up comedians, Kevin Pollack and Ray Romano.

This year’s appearance in the Main Event was much more successful than Steve’s first appearance back in 2006 when he did not make it out of day 1.

Based on his recent play Steve expects to cash when he plays in next year’s Main Event.
