WSOP Comes to Baltimore

The World Series of Poker is not just the six week long series of tournaments in Las Vegas that run from the end of May through early July in Las Vegas, but also includes circuit events which take place throughout the year at various casinos around the country. With the Horseshoe Casino having opened in Baltimore in the past year, and it being part of the Caesar’s family, which owns the WSOP, circuit events will be ongoing from February 26 through May 9, 2015.

Winners of events with a minimum $365.00 buy-in are awarded rings instead of bracelets, but these rings carry great significance in the poker world. In addition to No Limit Texas Hold ‘em, there will be at least one Omaha Tournament. The Main Event, which has a $1,675.00 buy in, will begin March 6, 2015, and will certainly attract not only local players (including partner, Steven Blomberg), but national players.

The Firm wishes Steve the best of luck as he battles some of the top tournament poker players in the world over the next two weeks.
